I brought this up in the monthly meeting on Nov 8th (yesterday). Discussion was centered around identifying a library location (ie: Tacoma Public Library or Pierce County Library), then contacting library to determine their interest and availability for in-person genealogy help to local library patrons. At this time, I don't have a formal proposal and I believe the discussion ended with waiting until the Jan 2023 monthly meeting. As follow up, I will email info@tpcgs.org to express my interest and see what work I can do prior to the Jan meeting (contact libaries, identify contact person, potential in-person locations, Tacoma vs Pierce County library system, etc). I'm very interested in this, as I've been helping with the monthly SKCGS Gen Help Desk at the Auburn Library and really enjoy it!
